Roamin’ the Rhones

To create the allure of a trip to the Rhone Valley with no need for a passport or an airline ticket, the Summit to Sea wineries will hold the first annual “Roamin’ the Rhones” celebration, to be held August 21 and 22. Each winery will pair one of their signature Rhones with specially selected cheeses and delicious cured meats. This is the perfect time to get acquainted with perfumey and floral Viognier at Loma Prieta, Mourvedre at Poetic Cellars, and a cornucopia of different styles of Syrah at Burrell School, Hunter Hill and Vine Hill. Discover how wonderfully Rhones pair with food, the more intensely flavored, the better!
