4th of July on the Summit 2 Sea Wine Trail

4th of July Weekend!

July 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th
noon – 5pm

The Summit to Sea Wineries, including Burrell School, MJA Vineyards, Loma Prieta Winery and Poetic Cellars, will all be open all weekend long for the July 4th Celebration.  The wineries are located along Summit Road and off Old San Jose-Soquel Road. Each winery will observe the holiday with “Red, White and Blue flights, featuring their White Wines (Chardonnay, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc), Red Wines, (Pinot, Pinotage, Merlot and Cabernet) and Blue Wine (Petite Sirah)!July 2011 also marks the 50th Anniversay of Petite Sirah
bottled as a varietal and they’re all celebrating the success of the little grape that went from a lowly blender to a phenom that has made it among the most popular with lovers of big, dark and delicious wines.

In addition, Burrell School celebrates the 121st Birthday of the Old Red Schoolhouse! Come salute the beautiful American flag
proudly flapping from one of the tallest flagpoles in the entire area.

Burrell School features Barrel Tasting and Futures Sales starting July 2nd
& 3rd exclusively for Library Reserve and Double Sippers Club
Members and for all Sippers Club Members beginning on July 4th and running through July 31st, or while supplies last.

Poetic Cellars will mark the holiday with a special price on Petite
Sirah of $25 per bottle, regularly $34, along with a Red, White and
Blue Patriot Pack for $65.

NOTE: MJA Vineyards, Burrell School and Poetic Cellars are all open on
Friday, July 1st, as well.
